The La Porte City FFA Historical & Ag Museum Board consists of six members, appointed by the Mayor with Council approval. Up to two (2) of the appointed Board members may be from outside the City limits but must reside within the Union School District. The duty of the Museum Board is to provide for the operation and maintenance of the FFA Ag Museum and to make plans for future expansion, construction, maintenance and operation, subject to the limitation of expenditures for salaries and supplies, contracts and capital outlays as set forth in the annual budget provided by the Council for museum operations. The Board meets regularly on the 1st Monday of each month at 5:30 pm at the FFA Ag Museum located at 408 Main Street.
